Chapter 1 Knowing Our Numbers
In this chapter, we will learn to compare numbers and ordering of numbers. We will see place value chart for first nine places in the system of numeration and also International system of numeration and Roman numerals. There are total 3 exercises in the chapter.

Chapter 5 Understanding Elementary Shapes
Chapter 5 Maths are about shapes framed using curves or lines. We will be talking about line segment and angles. It will also detail you about triangles, parallelograms, rectangle, square, rhombus and trapezium. There are 9 exercises in the chapter.
Chapter 6 Integers

Chapter 7 Fractions
A fraction is a part of a whole. A whole can be a group of objects or a single object. In the chapter 7, we will learn about proper and improper fractions and see the conversion of improper fraction into mixed fraction and vice versa. A total 6 exercises are given in this chapter.
Chapter 8 Decimals
The dot denotes the decimal point. Every fraction whose denominator is 10 can be written in decimal form. All decimal numbers can be represented on the number line. We will see the addition and subtraction of decimals. This chapter contains six exercises.
Chapter 9 Data Handling
Data is a collection of numbers gathered to get some information. To get the required information, all observations should be recorded. Tally marks are used to organise the observations. We will learn to how to draw pictograph and interpretation of a bar graph. There are 4 exercises in the chapter.
Chapter 10 Mensuration
Mensuration is a branch of mathematics which study various geometrical shapes, their length, breadth, volume, and area for 2D as well as 3D shapes. We will learn to find perimeter and area of squares, rectangles and triangles. There are 3 exercises in the chapter.
Chapter 11 Algebra
An expression consisting of variables, constants and mathematical operators is called an algebraic expression. We will learn about the variables with matchstick patterns. We will see the use of variables in geometry and arithmetic. A mathematical statement that indicates that the value of the LHS is equal to the value of the RHS is called an equation. The chapter contains five exercises.
Chapter 12 Ratio and Proportion
A comparison between the quantities made by using division, i.e. by verifying how many times one quantity is into the other quantity. This method is known as comparison by ratio. To calculate ratio, the two quantities have to be measured using the same unit. If the ratios between Quantity A and Quantity B is equal to the ratio between Quantity C and Quantity D, then the four quantities A, B, C and D, are said to be in proportion. The chapter contains 3 exercises.
Chapter 13 Symmetry
A figure can have line symmetry if a line can be drawn dividing it into two equal halves. The line is called the line of symmetry. We will learn about inked string patterns, figures with two lines or more than two lines of symmetry and about reflection.
Chapter 14 Practical Geometry
We will learn to construct circle, line segment, perpendicular to a line through a point on it, perpendicular to a line through a point not on it and angles. The chapter has total 6 exercises.
