History - NCERT Solutions Class 9th
Class 9th history textbook has total 6 chapters divided into two units. The first unit has chapters like French revolution, Socialism in Europe and Nazism and Hitler. How the socialism theory affected the history of Russia and led to rising of communist governments. The third chapter is Nazism and the rise of Hitler which talks about the aftermath of second world war and the condition which led to rising of Hitler in Germany. After the Hitler's defeat in the second world war, it deals with Nazi ideology which was synonymous with Hitler's ideology.
The second unit is about the livelihood of the societies such as people of forests, tribals and peasants and farmers. How their condition changed after the colonialism.
Civics - NCERT Solutions Class 9th
CBSE has removed the first chapter Democracy in the Contemporary World from the syllabus so the syllabus now has total five chapters. First is What is Democracy? Why Democracy? in which we will study the definition of the democracy and merits and demerits of democracy. Second is about the Constitutional Design in which we will first learn about the condition under which the constitution of South Africa was drafted after that we will study the drafting of constitution of India. The third is Electoral Political which discusses the procedure of the elections which is an essential part of democracy and also about the challenges before free and fair elections. Fourth is working of institutions. There are three institutions that play a key role in major decisions – legislature, executive and judiciary. We will learn about their formation and working in this chapter. The last chapter is Democratic Rights in which we will learn about the citizen's democratic rights provided by a constitution.
