Chapter 2 How the Dog Found Himself a New Master Class 6 English Summary
Long before dogs were their own masters. But he was scared of other animals that were stronger than him. So, he decided to find a master who was stronger than him and could save him from the other animals. He met a big wolf who was fierce and strong. The dog asked the wolf to be his master and the wolf agreed. The two walked together when suddenly the wolf sniffed the smell of a bear. Due to fear, he ran away.
The dog then went to the bear and requested him to be his master as he was stronger than the wolf.
The bear agreed and he began accompanied the bear wherever he went. As they were wandering in the forest, they saw a herd of cows that were mooing due to fear. The bear asked him to run away as there was a lion. Now the dog came to know the bear was afraid of the lion and lion was the most powerful animal.
The dog went to the lion and asked him to be his master. The lion agreed to it. The dog stayed with the lion for a long time. He was happy somehow as no one dared to say anything to him. One day the lion smelt a man in the forest and told the dog to run away with him, or else they both will be in trouble. He broke off with the lion too and went to man to make him his master. He stayed with man and served him faithfully. To this day the dog is man's most loyal servant.
